Free machinery conformity route checker
Four questions and you know which Article 25 route your machine is on — and whether a notified body is in your path. It runs entirely in your browser.

The same logic as the paid pack
The router below is a port of the function our €590 pack uses. What it cannot do is take your whole range, produce the Annex IV file skeleton, the delta report or the drafted Annex V declarations. The guide explains the routes in full.

Why there are three routes, not two
The intuitive model is binary: in Annex I, or not. That model is wrong, and it is wrong in the expensive direction — it routes Part B machinery to plain self-assessment when a third-party procedure may apply.
We shipped the binary model first
Our own first implementation had exactly this defect. An adversarial corpus check in August 2026 caught it and added the Part B tier. If you built your own mental model the same way — and most people do — your Part B machines are worth re-checking.
The Part B condition is stricter than it sounds
Part B machinery may use Module A only where it is manufactured in accordance with harmonised standards covering all the relevant essential health and safety requirements. Partial coverage counts as none. And the coverage claim itself has to be evidenced in the technical file, because it is the thing that put the machine on the cheaper route.
What the checker cannot do
It takes your word for where your machine sits in Annex I. That is the one judgement that decides everything else, and it is the one a web page cannot make for you: the lists are specific, and the answer depends on the machine in front of you. If you are unsure, the honest next step is the Annex itself, not this tool.

The technical file, ready for 2027
The free checker routes one machine. The pack takes your whole range: the Annex IV file skeleton, the delta report against 2006/42/EC, the gap list, and an Annex V declaration drafted for every machine.
